Many countries are known for their generosity when it comes to helping humanity. Pakistani nation is one of those, which is well-known for its philanthropic activities. They give and give generously. The above quote correctly defines the nature of the Pakistani nation. Generosity of Pakistani Nation – A Quick Review.

In a survey of Charities Aid Foundation (CAF) conducted under Global Giving Index 2014, Pakistan has been endorsed among the most generous countries of the world.  The rank of 61 out of 135 is after all a big thing considering the country does not have a good standard of living as compare to the west. People in Pakistan take great interest in all kinds of charitable activities. They actively participate in humanitarian work, cause, volunteering and donating in order to help the underprivileged class.

Every year, the large amount of funds are collected during the whole charitable work. One of the major reasons behind these huge charities is also the Zakat System here. These values have been inculcated in the society through the religion and proved to be helpful for the society as a whole. Poor people tend to end up fighting for poverty and horrific diseases if they do not get any help from the people belonging from the higher strata of the society.

The cultural values here in Pakistan also teach the lessons of brother hood and cooperation which enhances the mindset of helping one another.  These values are enforced in children at a very young age. The occasions of Eid-ul-Fitr and Eid-ul-Adha reinforce these teachings and transform them into practicality. On both Eids, there is a custom of helping poor people financially so they could celebrate too. These are the core values of the society without which any society can collapse.

There are a huge number of people with a very low standard of living; they cannot even afford two meals a day. When these people get sick or catch a life threatening disease, they do not know whom to look for?

Government hospitals are either out of their reach or always jam-packed. In addition, they give dates of the surgeries ranging from months to years. Private hospitals are too expensive and certainly not affordable. Sadly, as a result, the death rate keeps on rising among this social-economic class.

To cater to these unfortunate circumstances, there are people who have built organizations that work for this noble cause and Transparent Hands is one of them. For the first time in Pakistan, Transparent Hands introduces this Global Crowd Funding platform in the healthcare sector to conduct the surgeries of poor people of Pakistan free of cost while building a personal & trusted bond between patients and donors to ensure easy donation flow, one to one connection and complete transparency.
