Challenges
Jamshoro’s underprivileged communities face numerous health challenges. Limited access to healthcare services often results in untreated illnesses, leading to poor health outcomes.
The frequently reported diseases include malaria, tuberculosis, dengue fever, typhoid, and hepatitis, reflecting the region’s challenges with both vector-borne and communicable diseases. Recently, a significant outbreak of gastroenteritis has also affected Jamshoro’s residents.
Solution
To bridge the healthcare gap in Jamshoro, Transparent Hands will organize a free medical camp staffed by a dedicated team of experienced doctors, nurses, pharmacists, and volunteers. Our mission is to deliver quality healthcare services to as many patients as possible. We will ensure that financial constraints do not hinder access to essential treatments. Preventive Healthcare Session
In addition to medical services, the camp will include a preventive healthcare session, aimed at educating the community about one of the common health issues in Jamshoro. Transparent Hands, with the sponsorship of Sindh Lakhra Coal Mining Company - Energy Department Govt. of Sindh, recently organized a free medical camp and preventive healthcare session to provide quality healthcare services to needy patients in Jamshoro. The free medical camp was held on May 13, 2025, at Sindh Lakhra Coal Mining Company, Lakhra, District Jamshoro.
Free Consultations, Medicines, and Diagnostic Tests
A total of 394 deserving patients received free consultations from our experienced doctors. The checkups included general, dermatological, and gynecological assessments. In addition, free medicines and diagnostic services such as blood pressure checkups, diabetes testing, uric acid analysis, ultrasound scans, and hepatitis B and C screenings were provided.
