Extend Essential Maternal and Child Healthcare to Lalyani

Transparent Hands is going to arrange a free maternal and child healthcare camp in Lalyani, a rural area in Kasur district. This initiative is designed to bring critical medical services to underprivileged mothers and children who have little to no access to healthcare. Many families in Lalyani face severe health challenges as they lack access to affordable medical facilities and expert care. By providing quality healthcare, we aim to uplift these families and promote long-term well-being.

Challenges
Lalyani’s mothers and children are suffering due to preventable health issues. Women frequently experience gynecological issues, and many children suffer from poor nutrition, anemia, and stunted growth. Healthcare awareness is minimal, and with limited access to hospitals or clinics, many families have no choice but to live with their health problems.
According to UNICEF data, out of every 1,000 babies born, 42 die as newborns, and 62 do not survive infancy. These troubling figures highlight the need for accessible and high-quality healthcare in Kasur to tackle critical health challenges.

Solution
Transparent Hands will set up a dedicated maternal and child healthcare camp in Lalyani to address these necessary health needs. Through this camp, we aim to deliver a range of free healthcare services, from diagnosis to treatment, focusing on both immediate medical attention and long-term preventive measures. Services at the camp will include:
