Transparent Hands organized a free medical camp in Chakwal on 17th Feb 2018 at Sunrise Science School in Tatral Distt. Chakwal. The camp was organized with the collaboration of Qazi Foundation Pakistan. In this medical camp, around 316 patients were checked free of cost and were also given free medicines as prescribed by doctors. Out of these patients, 70 people were given free blood sugar test facility.

In the medical camp, a few surgical cases were also identified and they were further registered for surgery with Transparent Hands. Out of these surgical patients, 4 with Tonsillitis, 3 with Fibroid Uterus, 2 cardiac patients, 2 patients of kidney stones, and one each with Gall bladder stone, Paraumbilical hernia, Preauricular cyst, and Nasal Polyp were registered.

Transparent Hands team comprising of 9 members managed this free medical camp in Chakwal successfully. The team included 3 doctors, 2 pharmacist / dispenser, 1 phlebotomist, 1 supervisor, and 2 patient registration persons. The camp has successfully created an impact in the lives of more than 300 patients of Chakwal. We look forward to organizing many such camps to facilitate the poor and deserving patients of Pakistan.
