Chunian is a small district of Kasur in Punjab, Pakistan. The town has a population of around 930,000 people. Chunian has been identified as an impoverished area where people are in dire need of support as a result of a number of issues including contaminated water supply and lack of medical services. According to a report, contaminated water is causing mild to severe diseases such as bone deformities, stomach problems, skin allergies and more. The patients suffering from these diseases have been left at the mercy of quacks in their town who are famous for minting money from these patients in the name of treatment. There are a few public hospitals in Chunian but the number of doctors is not enough to cater to the needs of community. Private treatment is beyond the reach of the low-income class population.
Your donations for this medical camp will cover the basic and urgent medical needs of people living in Chunian. Our goal is to offer free medical and surgical treatment facility to more than 400 vulnerable people in need.
We believe that every person should have access to basic healthcare facilities for their well-being. It is important to provide medical screening in Chunian, allowing people to take further steps for their ailments and preventing further health deterioration.
Donate for this camp and play your role in saving hundreds of lives!
