Stand By Us to Arrange Free Maternal and Child Health Camp in Lalyani
Transparent Hands has launched an impactful initiative to improve maternal and child health across Pakistan. Under this initiative, we are organizing a free medical camp and preventive healthcare session in Lalyani, Kasur. It is driven by the commitment to ensure that no one should be deprived of medical care because of their financial constraints. Through this camp, we aim to reach the most deserving mothers and children in this area.
Challenges
In Lalyani, a large number of mothers are unable to undergo gynecological check-ups and children face undernourishment. Many common illnesses go untreated. Women and children often suffer due to a lack of timely medical care, nutritional guidance, and reproductive health services, which leads to complications.
According to UNICEF data, out of every 1,000 babies born in Pakistan, 42 die while they are newborns and 62 do not survive beyond infancy.
Solution
In response to these challenges, Transparent Hands is arranging a free medical camp and preventive healthcare session that will be staffed by a skilled team of doctors, nurses, lab technicians, and volunteers. This camp will help detect health issues early and provide medicines and treatments for ongoing conditions. By delivering care directly within the community, we aim to empower individuals to take charge of their health and well-being.
