Transparent Hands plans to organize a free medical camp in District Lakki Marwat, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. In this one-day medical camp, our team of expert physicians will provide the following health facilities to deserving patients:

Challenges: 

District Lakki Marwat is a rich locality in terms of topography and climate. It is a land that has a desert, rivers, streams, orchards, mines, and mills. When it comes to health care facilities, the district has four hospitals and around 45 small health care centers or dispensaries. It is common knowledge that poor living standards result in adverse effects on the general health and wellbeing of the residents, causing short-term illnesses such as eye, nose, and throat infections, Hepatitis, Diabetes, and Hypertension. Over time, the mentioned illnesses have the potential of becoming acute. Presently, COVID-19 has added another dimension to the pre-existing challenges. The public health sector remains burdened to its maximum capacity, making access to basic health care a great difficulty.
