Abdul Sattar's Story

Abdul Sattar, a 36-year-old resident of Lahore, has been grappling with excruciating knee pain for the past two years. After evaluation, the medical experts have confirmed that he is suffering from debilitating right knee osteoarthritis and subluxation. The prescribed course of action to alleviate his pain and restore his mobility is a Hinged Total Knee Replacement surgery. This surgical procedure is his only ray of hope to regain his independence and lead a fulfilling life.

Abdul Sattar lives with his wife and four children in a small house with two rooms. He does not work due to his condition. His wife, the sole breadwinner works as a tailor, earning a meager sum of PKR 20,000 per month. With their monthly expenses, including utility bills amounting to PKR 500, and their children’s educational expenses, which sum up to PKR 9,000. Their financial burden has become overwhelming. To make ends meet, they have resorted to borrowing money from relatives and neighbors, but this temporary solution is no longer sustainable.

A Heartfelt Plea:

Abdul Sattar said with teary eyes:

“In the depths of pain, hope emerges as a lifeline. Your support can mend not just my knee but also my shattered dreams.”

In his quest for assistance, Abdul Sattar has reached out to Transparent Hands, and we have taken up his case, recognizing the urgency and the profound impact this surgery will have on Abdul Sattar’s life and his family’s well-being.

Abdul Sattar’s struggle with knee pain has left him imprisoned in his own body, unable to provide for his family or escape the clutches of financial distress. With your support and generosity, we can help Abdul Sattar broke free from the shackles of his condition. Every contribution, no matter how small, will make a significant difference in restoring hope, mobility, and joy to his life.
