Ahmed Alam's Story

“Ahmad Alam has had kidney stones since 2001. These stones were initially small but many in number. Ahmad had his left kidney treated at a hospital in Peshawar. There were no signs of stones for some time, but they reappeared after a few months, which meant that the treatment was unsuccessful. The pain also came back in Ramzan and this time it is greater than before. Ahmad Aalam is still in pain because of the presence of these stones in both kidneys and is showing other symptoms including fever and blood in urine.
Ahmad Alam is a father to two sons, among which the elder goes to a government school while the younger is too young to join right now. The family does not have their own house and live on rent. Ahmad is a security guard working daytime with a monthly salary of 12,000 PKR. Almost all of Ahmad’s income is consumed over family expenses, leaving behind none for savings. Ahmad currently does not have any savings to cover the cost of kidney surgery himself, which is why he needs your help.
