Asma Bibi's Story

Asma, a 35-year-old resident of Karachi, has been suffering from an umbilical hernia for the past 7 years. The umbilical hernia has been a constant source of discomfort and limitation in her life for far too long. After consulting with a doctor, she underwent various tests and an ultrasound examination. Based on the evaluation, the doctor has advised her to undergo an umbilical hernia repair surgery.

Asma lives in a small house with her three children and her husband, who is a daily wage worker with a monthly income of PKR 22,000. As a housewife, Asma does not have any other source of income. Despite living in their own home, their financial condition is not favorable. Asma’s husband also has to pay for essential expenses, such as food and utility bills amounting to PKR 1,500 and school fees of PKR 2,000 per month.

Due to this financial crisis, Asma is unable to afford the surgical expenses required for the umbilical hernia repair. She is in desperate need of financial assistance to undergo the necessary treatment and regain her health.

Asma said it in a depressed tone:

“With your kind support, I can finally receive the treatment I desperately need and reclaim my health and independence. Please, consider donating what you can to support my umbilical hernia repair.ā€

She contacted Transparent Hands for financial assistance. Your generous contribution can make a significant difference in Asma’s life, helping her to overcome this medical condition and return to a healthier and more active lifestyle. Even a small donation can have a meaningful impact on her well-being and that of her family. Please consider donating for Asma’s umbilical hernia repair to provide her with the medical care she requires. She is counting on your kindness to make her dream of leading a healthy life a reality.
