Ayesha Noor's Story
Ayesha is a little girl with a beautiful name, but unfortunately, she has never even heard it. She was born with a congenital disability. She cannot hear as she suffers from Sensorineural Hearing loss. We ask you to please come forward and donate for Ayesha’s Cochlear Implant surgery as her parents have placed their hopes in your hands.
Ayesha Noor, a five-year-old resident of Swabi, has had sensorineural hearing loss since she was born. Her parents were initially unaware of her illness. Her parents took her to the hospital when she was a year old and still didn’t respond to their verbal cues or loud noises. Ayesha’s doctor recommended that she should get a hearing aid, but her parents couldn’t afford it. The doctor has now advised Ayesha to get a Cochlear Implant surgery as a long-term option, which is even more expensive.
Ayesha can have a modified sense of hearing thanks to a medically inserted neuroprosthetic device. Unfortunately, Ayesha’s parents cannot afford the cost of a Cochlear Implant surgery. Ayesha’s father is currently unemployed and relies on others for their financial needs. As a result, it is next to impossible for him to pay for his daughter’s surgery. Ayesha’s father shared his distress with us:
“We get really concerned when she is playing and isn’t aware of the traffic and other dangers around her. It is very difficult to catch her attention from a distance without being in her view. We had given up hope until we discovered Transparent Hands. Please assist us.”
Ayesha’s parents have registered her case with Transparent Hands and we are determined to help her. However, it will not be possible without your generous support. We request you to donate for Ayesha’s Cochlear Implant surgery. Your contributions, no matter how small or big, will make a significant difference in her life.
