Haleema Bibi 's Story
Haleema is a loving wife and mother of four who has been struggling with chronic tonsillitis for a while now. She experiences a persistent sore throat and difficulty swallowing, making it challenging for her to manage her daily responsibilities. Her doctor has recommended surgery to alleviate her symptoms, but the cost is beyond her means, leaving her with no choice but to rely on temporary relief from medications and home remedies. Her condition has taken a toll on her mental and emotional well-being, leaving her feeling isolated and disconnected from her family. Kindly donate for Haleema Bibi’s tonsillectomy to relieve her pain and discomfort.
Haleema Bibi, a 28-year-old resident of Rawalpindi, has been suffering from repeated episodes of fever, cough, and a sore throat. She went to different hospitals and got symptomatic treatment. But with the passage of time, her symptoms increased in frequency. Recently, she visited an ENT specialist, who diagnosed her with chronic tonsillitis. It is a condition where the tonsils, small glands located at the back of the throat, become persistently inflamed or infected. An ENT specialist advised him to undergo a tonsillectomy. It is a surgical procedure to remove the tonsils, which are two small glands located at the back of the throat, to treat enlarged tonsils.
She lives in a joint family with her husband and four children. Her husband is the sole breadwinner, but his monthly income of PKR 20,000 isn’t enough to support the family. Therefore, he cannot afford to pay his wife’s surgical expenses. Haleema said it in despair:
“I am in desperate need of surgery to improve my quality of life and be able to fully participate in my family’s activities. I kindly ask for your support.”
Haleema has reached out to Transparent Hands for help, and we have registered her case. We are determined to cover the surgical expenses with your support to bring significant difference and hope in her life. We urge you to come forward and donate for Haleema Bibi’s tonsillectomy to let her regain health.
