Khadim Hussain's Story
Khadim Hussain is a two-year-old toddler whose family hails from Sheikhupura, Punjab. Born in the era of Covid-19, while many of us have been struggling with just being cooped up in our homes, young Khadim had a lot more on his plate. Misfortune for Khadim started with a simple case of diarrhea. The parents have humble origins, and therefore, they had no choice but to depend upon a neighborhood doctor for the treatment which did not work in their favor. The parents then took the child to a government hospital, and surgery had to be performed to clear the obstruction in his intestine. Therefore, donate for Khadim’s Ileostomy Reversal as much as you can.
The first surgery required the removal of a part of the intestine and left Khadim with a stoma for temporary management of the fecal waste. For many parents, caring for an infant involves changing the diapers and feeding them. But unfortunately, the parents of young Khadim have instead been tending to his wounds.
Khadim needs a second surgery to reconnect his intestine and reverse the bowel function. But his family cannot afford the surgery. The father is the family’s sole breadwinner, and he has to provide for his parents, wife, and Khadim. Their finances have always been under stress. But now the economic disaster by the COVID-19 pandemic is catastrophic.
“Things have been hard, very hard of late. But the hardest thing to face is my little boy’s agony. It just breaks my heart to see him in so much pain. I wish I could do something, but things have not been just in my control of late. All I can pray for is a miracle!”
For any hope towards a normal childhood, Khadim needs your magnanimity. A little support from you means the world to young Khadim. He asks not for any luxury but normalcy in his life and good health. You know the patient, you know the story. All you can do is donate for Khadim’s Ileostomy Reversal NOW!
