Marvi, a 25-year-old resident of Matiari, Sindh, has been enduring pain in her right flank and suffering urine retention for the last two years. She was taken to a local clinic in Matiari and received symptomatic treatments. Unfortunately, after some time, she started experiencing the same pain again. Upon further consultation, she was diagnosed with a non-functioning right kidney. She has been prescribed some medicines for pain relief, but they are ineffective. She has been suffering from severe pain ever since. Her pain has become unbearable. She was worked up and the doctor advised Marvi to undergo a right Nephrectomy for this. The surgical removal of a kidney is known as nephrectomy. The treatment is used to treat kidney cancer, as well as other diseases and accidents affecting the kidneys.

Marvi lives in a village with her family of seven. Unfortunately, due to financial constraints, they are unable to afford the surgery at the moment. They completely depend on financial aid from others. A neighbor told them about Transparent Hands. We have verified and registered her case. Marvi’s husband shared his distress with us in the following manner:
