For the last year, thirty-four years old Sana Maryam has been suffering from increased menstrual bleeding. She sought medical attention in time. Gradually, her condition deteriorated further, and she was diagnosed with large uterine fibroids. Uterine fibroids are growths made up of the muscle and connective tissue from the wall of the uterus. Some untreated uterine fibroids may cause serious complications such as anemia or chronic pelvic pain. They can interfere with one’s quality of life and may also impact pregnancy.
Therefore, to treat this condition, the doctor has advised Sana Maryam to undergo a Myomectomy. Myomectomy refers to the surgical removal of uterine leiomyomas, also known as fibroids. In contrast to a hysterectomy, the uterus remains preserved, and the woman retains her reproductive potential. Unfortunately, Sana Maryam cannot afford the hefty cost of this surgery. Sana Maryam has been to many public hospitals. But, she could not get an urgent appointment for her surgery. She told us:
“I have spent so much time hovering here and there in search of affordable treatment. But no one was able to help me. Transparent Hands is my only hope.”
After a lot of distress, Sana Maryam has requested Transparent Hands for help. We wish to help her as soon as we can. But, it won’t be possible without your help. Therefore, we request you to please donate for Sana Maryam’s Myomectomy as much as you can. Click the green button above and donate now.
