Donate Iqra Ameen for her surgery so that her life condition can be improved which is affected by Mental Retardation and Epilepsy by birth.

Iqra Ameen is a 16 year old innocent girl who is unfortunately not privileged to live a normal life like us. She is a diagnosed case of Mental Retardation and Epilepsy by birth. Due to this disease, she has no sense to take care of herself. Her mother looks after her and fulfills her needs. She cannot even take care of personal hygiene that includes menstruation too. Her mother is widow who is working as a maid and earns only 5,000 rupees a month. She is not able to look after her daughter all the time.

Iqra has 3 younger siblings who often look after her and play with her. They all live in a small house given by Iqra’s maternal grandfather. Iqra is under treatment by Psychiatrist who has advised her to undergo Hystrectomy as she can not be trained to manage her menstruation and her mother is also not able to deal with her growing needs. Under these circumstances, with her mother’s consent, Iqra is planned to undergo Hysterectomy.

Iqra is now registered with Transparent Hands and is scheduled for surgery in a few days at Akram Medical Complex. This will not be possible without your kind support.
