Muhammad Wajih's Story

This poor child is going through severe pain due to his disease. Support him now!

Muhammad Wajih is a 4 years old child who lives in a small town of Narowal with his parents. Wajih had one brother who died after his birth due to congenital heart defect. When Muhammad Wajih was born, his parents were very excited but their excitement only lasted a few days. Wajih was diagnosed with Hypospadiasis – a birth defect in which the opening of the urethra is on the underside of the penis instead of at the tip. The urethra is the tube through which urine drains from the urinary bladder and exits the body.

Muhammad experiences painful symptoms including abdominal pain and difficulty in urinating. Doctor has advised that Muhammad Wajih needs to undergo surgical procedure to correct the defect. Without surgery, his disease can result in back pressure and can also cause failure of kidneys. His parents requested a local hospital to conduct his surgery free of cost but they didn’t receive any positive response. His father is unable to pay for his surgical expenses at a private hospital. He is a daily wager laborer and earns around 12,000 rupees a month with which they hardly manage to make both ends meet. Luckily a few days back, they came to know about Transparent Hands through an old patient who got treated from here.

Wajih is now scheduled for his Urethroplasty in a few days at Akram Medical Complex. His surgery will not be possible without your support. We request you to please contribute towards his surgical procedure so that he can get rid of his painful symptoms and start living a healthier life!

Please Note: In certain situations, we proceed with the patient's surgery/medical procedure despite incomplete funding displayed on the website.
