Muhammad Amir 's Story

Muhammad Amir, aged 28 years, a resident of Vehari, had chronic renal failure for the past two years. Consequently, he underwent a renal transplant around one and a half years ago. Since then, he has been taking immunosuppressive medication. These medications are very costly.

Muhammad Amir is financially dependent on his brother who works as a daily wager and earns only PKR 10,000 per month. The entire family consisting of nine members is dependent on him for their monthly expenses. Naturally, there is no money left at the end of the month. In these circumstances, arranging for medicines every month is next to impossible.

Amir was referred to our organization by one of his physicians. We registered his case and have been providing him medicine for the past four months. Amir expressed his gratitude in the following words:

“I come from a very underprivileged background and my tests, medication and treatment has been an added burden to the already constrained finances of my family. When I could see no way to arrange for the medicines, team Transparent Hands decided to help me. The gratitude that I feel in my heart cannot be expressed in words.”

Amir needs to continue taking the immunosuppressive medicines as prescribed by his doctor and we want to continue supporting this young man but the task is not possible without your support. Your financial assistance would be deeply appreciated by Amir. Therefore, do not think twice and donate generously for him.
