Hamza Ali's Story
Hamza Ali, 5 years of age, has been suffering from hearing loss by birth. His mother noticed that Hamza wouldn’t respond to his name since the age of 1.
Worried, his parents took him to several ENT doctors for check-up near Mardan, but their advice did not resolve Hamza’s problem and his hearing capacity did not develop. In need of help, Hamza’s parents brought him to Lahore for a check-up where he is diagnosed to have sensorineural hearing loss. The doctors have recommended Hamza to get a Cochlear Implant.
All parents want what’s best for their children, and Hamza’s parents want the same. But their financial situation restricts them.
Hamza’s parents live in a small house in a joint family system in Mardan, KPK. His father supports his wife and five more sons. Working as a rickshaw driver, he earns 12,000 PKR/month. There is no way Hamza’s father can come up with even half of the amount for such a costly surgery.
Luckily, they found out about Transparent Hands and we have pledged to help this family. Now we need your help to help improve this little boy’s future.
“Our little boy just sits quietly in the corner, without a smile on his face. We haven’t seen his laugh since years. Please help my son listen to his mother call out his name. His brothers want to play with him, they call out his name and get no response. It breaks my heart to see him in such a state.” – Hamza’s father
Hamza’s parents have requested your help in getting their son’s hearing ability back. Help this young father turn his son’s life to normal just like other boys his age.
Please donate for his cochlear implant.
