Fahmeeda Begum's Story

This woman works in a school as a maid.

One day she had a severe pain in her abdomen with vomiting. She went to the doctor where some pain killers were given to her and an ultrasound was recommended. Following the advice she had an ultrasound and the reports diagnosed that she is having Cholelithiasis (Gall bladder stones).She was counseled that she requires an Operation.Her husband is a guard in the same school while 2 sons work at a shop. But she is not in a condition to afford all the expense of her treatment as more than half of their income went for the treatment of her husband who is a patient of Epilepsy since last 20 years. Therefore due to their financial crisis she has decided to fight with the disease. She waited for 6 months with the pain of gall stones and due to the fact that she left untreated she developed Choledolithiasis (at least one gall stones bile duct stones).
