Zunaira Kanwal is a 21 years old lady who lives in a small town of Lahore with her husband. Around one year ago, she gave birth to her first child but unfortunately the baby couldn’t survive due to early delivery in just 6 months of her pregnancy at a local hospital in Lahore. She was diagnosed with Rt Ovarian Cyst and her husband thinks that their baby died because of this disease.

Her husband took her to a homeopathic clinic for her cyst treatment but she didn’t get any relief from there. They are afraid to go to local hospitals again because of lack of care and proper services. Zunaira’s husband works as a car electrician and hardly earns around 400 rupees a day. In such meager income, they cannot afford another surgical treatment for the bothersome cyst. They came to Transparent Hands for surgical treatment but doctor advised her to continue with the present pregnancy as surgical procedure may involve harm to the developing fetus.  Now, Zunaira experiences very painful symptoms including pain in lower abdomen, difficulty in walking and extreme weakness. She is in her final cycle of pregnancy and doctor recommended her to undergo c-section along with the cyst removal procedure.

They came to Transparent Hands again for help and Zunaira was registered here immediately after proper examination. She is now scheduled for Laparotomy for the removal of cyst with c-section after which she’ll be able to regain her health.
