Muhammad Ilyas's Story

Ilyas has been struggling with his physical disability. He is fearful because of his uncertain future. He also feels depressed. Due to a lack of financial resources, he cannot get a prosthetic leg. We urge you to help Ilyas get back on his feet and regain his self-confidence and improve his quality of life. Your financial gift can inspire him to live with hope and dedication.

Ilyas, a 59-year-old resident of Lahore, had a diabetic foot. His foot became inflamed, and he went to the doctor for a check-up. The doctor just prescribed symptomatic treatment. With the passage of time, his inflammation became worse and progressed to gangrene. The doctor had to amputate his left leg below the knee level. Now, he needs a left artificial leg to regain his mobility.

He lives with his wife and two children in a small house. He works as a teacher at a government school. He is retiring as a government employee next year. He has a heavy debt. With all these financial problems, he cannot afford to pay for a prosthetic leg. He said in a depressed tone:

“The responsibility of paying a heavy debt and arranging money for an artificial leg is stressing me out badly. I request you to donate generously to help me overcome all these hardships.”

Ilyas’s case has been registered with Transparent Hands, and we are determined to provide him with a prosthetic leg to help him regain his independence and mobility. Now, we need your support to improve his quality of life. Be the hope for this struggling man looking for a better life. We urge you to help Ilyas to get back on his feet. Your donations will bring happiness and smiles back into his life. He and his family have placed their hopes in your hands. Even a small act of generosity can have a lasting impact. A donation as small as $10 can change his life.
