Khurshid Khalid's Story

Khurshid Khalid has hernia growing in her abdomenand this is not the first time. She already had it treated at a hospital in Sahiwal 3 years ago. The operation however was unsuccessful and now the hernia is back. Khurshid started suffering from pain caused by hernia a year after her surgery and is still suffering today. She needs an immediate surgery to remove the hernia permanently.
It has been 15 years since Khurshid was married. She is now a housewife and has 6 children, among which four go to school. Khurshid’s husband works on daily wages and it was been difficult for him to collect money for Khurshid’s surgery, while managing the expenses of the family. Khurshid already had a cheap treatment at a hospital in Sahiwal which proved to be unsuccessful, which is why she has come to Lahore. Transparent Hands is willing to support Khurshid’s case.
