Let’s Bring Colors into Muhammad Hanif’s Life
Muhammad Hanif's Story
Muhammad Hanif, a 52-year-old resident of Lahore, is suffering from short-sightedness, and blurry and dim vision. Upon consultation with a doctor, Hanif was diagnosed with a cataract in his left eye. The Cataract has cast a shadow over his vision, making it difficult to recognize faces and perform daily activities. Hanif was doing great in life until he got affected by the cataract. He is now unable to provide for his family, can’t walk around the home without bumping into things, and can’t see his loved ones’ faces. Once independent, Hanif now needs assistance in every task he performs.
The doctor has recommended Phaco + IOL surgery to restore his vision. Unfortunately, the cost of the surgery is overwhelming for Hanif and his family. He has only one son who works in a factory and makes just PKR 30,000 per month. Despite his immense love for his father, he can’t afford the significant cost of the surgery. They live in a one-room wooden house. With their insufficient monthly income, they hardly cover the cost of utility bills, groceries, and other daily living expenses. Affording his cataract surgery is next to impossible for them.
After struggling for a while, they found Transparent Hands and asked us for help.
Muhammad Hanif expressed his heartfelt plea as follows:
“I am afraid to live my remaining life in darkness. I want to see the beauty of the things around me and regain my ability to provide for my family. Due to our financial hardships, we simply can’t afford the cost of the surgery. Please help us in this time of need.”
Hanif desperately needs your support to overcome the challenges caused by his visual impairment. His life would be filled with happiness and new hope if we provide him with the necessary cataract surgery.
Donate as much as you can to support him. You can bring light and hope into his life by contributing for his life-changing surgery.
