Muhammad Arif's Story

Pyelolithotomy is an open surgical procedure in cases involving a stone in the renal pelvis. It is becoming an uncommon surgery in most of the developing countries including Pakistan. This surgery is only considered when all other options fail. Muhammad Arif is one of the victims who have stones in the renal pelvis. Previously, he had few treatments in local clinics, but the results were unsatisfactory. He is 44 years old and belongs to Sheikhupura. He works as a laborer. Doctors suggested, he needs a Pyelolithotomy surgery, but he was unable to pay for his surgery. In such miserable condition with excruciating pain in his kidney and constant vomiting, he appealed Transparent Hands to raise funds for him. Let’s save Arif’s life!

Please Note: In certain situations, we proceed with the patient's surgery/medical procedure despite incomplete funding displayed on the website. Following the surgery/medical procedure, we persist in collecting funds and maintain the campaign on the website until funding is secured in full. Hospitals have granted us a grace period for bill payment.
