Light Up Muhammad Ramzan’s World Again
Muhammad Ramzan's Story
Muhammad Ramzan, a 57-year-old resident of Lahore, suffers from blurry vision. He received a medical consultation from an ophthalmologist, and he was diagnosed with a Cataract in his left eye. He was once a pillar of his family and he supported his family through thick and thin. The Cataract has limited his ability to provide for his family.
As advised by his doctor, Ramzan needs a Phaco + IOL surgery for his cataract. It is a surgical procedure to eliminate the Cataract by removing the cloudy lens in the eye. The cost of the surgery is overwhelming for his family. The Cataract has made it challenging for him to perform even the simplest tasks. He has become increasingly dependent on his family.
Living in a small two-room brick house, his family struggles to make ends meet. His son, a daily wage laborer, earns only PKR 25000. With this meager income and monthly utility bills amounting to PKR 3000, Ramzan’s financial situation is stretched thin.
Ramzan expressed his plight as follows:
“I have always been the one to take care of my family. Now, I am facing helplessness. I can’t afford the cost of the much-needed surgery. I humbly request you help me live like I used to before suffering from this eye condition.”
In this time of need, they reached out to Transparent Hands and we registered Ramzan’s case. With your donation, we can provide him with the necessary cataract surgery at one of our panel hospitals, where an experienced eye surgeon will perform the procedure.
