Make an Impact in Zeenat’s Life with Hysterectomy

Zeenat Muhib's Story
For the past ten years, Zeenat Muhib, a 42-year-old widow from Hyderabad, Sindh, has been experiencing prolonged and heavy menstrual bleeding. Her quality of life has been badly affected by her illness. She is unable to carry out her routine tasks and manage her household. Recently, she visited a doctor at a local hospital. After performing a thorough examination, the doctor diagnosed Zeenat with Uterine Fibroids. These are benign tumors that develop in the uterus and cause discomfort. To address this issue, the doctor has recommended a Total Abdominal Hysterectomy and Bilateral Salpingo-Oophorectomy. Unfortunately, the cost of the surgery is overwhelming for her.
If her condition is left untreated, she may experience intense pelvic pain and anemia. Moreover, the fibroids can grow and develop into cancer. Timely intervention is essential to avoid potential complications.
Zeenat lives in a small mud house with her elderly mother and daughter. Since the death of her husband, Zeenat has been facing immense financial hardships. Her household expenses are managed through the support of her relatives and brother, which amounts to approximately PKR 15,000 per month. With this amount, managing their utility bills, food, and other living expenses is a significant challenge. Their financial constraints make it impossible for them to pay for Zeenat’s surgery. During this time of despair, Zeenat has contacted Transparent Hands and asked for help.
Zeenat expressed her heartfelt plea as follows:
“For a long time, I have been suffering from this illness. I just want relief now and to be able to spend quality time with my family. I rely on the support of my relatives, and the cost of this surgery is something I can’t manage on my own. Kindly help me undergo the surgery so that I can get rid of this disease and lead a healthy life.”
Zeenat is placing all her hope in your hands. Together, we can help her reclaim her life and end her struggle with uterine fibroids.
