Allah Ditta's Story

Allah Ditta, a 31-year-old resident of Sheikhupura, has been struggling with typhoid enteritis/cystitis. For three days, he has going through the following symptoms – fever, chills, lower abdominal pain, nausea, and vomiting. Due to these symptoms, he was unable to go to his work.

Allah Ditta recently visited a local hospital in search of relief, and the doctor advised a routine check-up as well as an ultrasound of his pelvis and abdomen. Determining the severity of his disease and laying up a plan for his medical treatment depends heavily on these vital diagnostic tests. However, the expense of these tests is a significant barrier that Allah Ditta faces currently.

Allah Ditta is a cook by profession, earning a limited monthly income of PKR 25,000. He lives in a just one-room house with his wife and three young children, the sole breadwinner for the entire family. With such a limited income and daily expenses, the financial burden of medical expenses has become a big challenge.

“I am the only breadwinner in my family,” Allah Ditta complains. “With a wife and three children to support with all monthly expenses. I have no room left for savings to spend on my health. The thought of spending money on these medical tests makes me nervous, as I worry about my capacity to provide for my family.”

“My family is my whole world, and I would do anything to ensure their well-being,” Allah Ditta further elaborates. “But without the ability to pay for these necessary tests, I feel helpless to help them. I hope that with the help of compassionate donations, I may restore my health and continue my position as a provider for my family.”

Allah Ditta contacted Transparent Hands and registered his case. With your support, he may undergo the recommended Ultrasound tests and receive the medical attention he desperately needs.
