Free Medical Camp for Transgender Community in Lahore by Transparent Hands

On 15th July 2019, Transparent Hands conducted a one-day medical camp for Transgender community in Lahore. In this medical camp, free medical check-up facility, free medicines and diagnostic test facility were provided to transgender people.

During the camp, a team of highly qualified doctors and para-medical staff examined transgender community. Free medicines were distributed as prescribed by doctors. Free diagnostic test facility was also provided which included; Blood Pressure Test, Diabetes Test, Hepatitis B & C Screening Test. Among the patients, 6 were found HCV positive. In the camp, 6 surgical patients were identified, who were pre-registered with Transparent Hands for free surgical treatment related to Orthopedic and Urology.
