What does transparent hands do?

Transparent Hands provides free healthcare services to the deserving people across Pakistan through its global crowdfunding platform. It builds a Personal and Trusted bond between Patients and Donors while ensuring Complete Transparency. Our services include free medical and surgical procedures and tele-health services. Transparent Hands also sets up free medical camps in rural areas of Pakistan in which free medical checkup facility, free diagnostic tests, and free medicines are provided to the needy patients.

How do you reached the underprivileged patients who need surgical treatment?

Transparent Hands’ team sets up medical camps in suburbs and rural areas of Pakistan where patients can directly approach the team present there. Banners are also displayed at hospitals and at various places through which patients can reach Transparent Hands. In addition to this, many of our patients are referred through our old patients who previously underwent medical or surgical treatment through us and have fully recovered.

What is your selection criteria for patients?

Patients’ selection criteria include financial verification (to know whether the patient is financially deserving or not) and medical verification (for the definitive need of treatment with fair outcomes).

How does transparent hands support the patient?

Transparent Hands registers the patient who needs medical or surgical treatment after financial and medical verification. After registration, the patient’s story is uploaded on the website for funding. Once the campaign is funded, the patient undergoes required treatment in one of our partner hospitals. Transparent Hands pay all the medical and surgical expenses of the patient to the hospital. We don’t pay any amount to the doctor or patient directly.

How can I give my zakat/charity to transparent hands online?

You can give your Zakat or Charity to Transparent Hands in three simple steps through its website: Select Patient from the list of medical procedures or surgeries. Click on the DONATE tab. Enter the amount and pay through a number of secured payment modes

In which cities transparent hands is working?

Currently, our head office is in Lahore but we have hospitals on the panel from Lahore, Faisalabad, Chakwal and Mian Channu.

Do you charge anything from the patient?

No. Transparent Hands doesn’t charge a single penny from any patient.

Are the healthcare service 100% free?

Yes, all kinds of services that we provide are 100% free whether it is a medical procedure, surgery or treatment in a medical camp.
