How Transparent conducted Medical Camp in Engineers Town?

Transparent Hands organized a free medical camp in collaboration with Atlas Copco Pakistan (Pvt) Ltd on 22nd December 2017 at Engineers Town, Lahore. During the medical camp in Engineers Town, a free check-up facility was provided to the needy patients living in the surrounding area of Town. All the patients were given free medicines, free sugar test,s and those who required surgery were further registered with Transparent Hands for free of cost surgical treatment.

There was a total of 219 patients who needed medical treatment out of which, 2 were identified for the surgeries; 1 child case of Metatarsus Adductus (MTA) and one adult with abdominal lump were examined and advised workup for required surgery.

All the patients were checked carefully and we found out that they were experiencing various diseases including infection, cough, Flu, high blood sugar level, fever, and many more. Free blood pressure and sugar check up facility were also provided in the camp. Those patients, who were suffering from these ailments, were given medicines and were further advised for a healthier lifestyle.

Conclusion – Medical Camp in Engineers Town

The camp was successfully held with the hope that it’d create a long-lasting impact on the lives of people living in rural areas. All the people were informed about Transparent Hands for surgical treatment in the future if required. We at Transparent Hands intend to help many such people in future again. We were able to touch the lives of 219 people and we hope that in the future, we can reach hundreds of underprivileged people with the immense support of organizations and volunteers.
