Many Lives Were Uplifted at Our Free Medical Camp in Okara

Transparent Hands, with the support of Pakistan Poverty Alleviation Fund (PPAF), Association for Gender Awareness and Human Empowerment (AGAHE) and other Donors, organized a free medical camp and preventive healthcare session at Union Council Attari, Tehsil Renala Khurd, District Okara. The primary objective of this camp, held on April 28, 2025, was to provide essential medical support to the underserved community of Okara.

Free Consultations, Medicines, and Diagnostic Tests:

A total of 304 deserving patients received free consultations from expert doctors. Along with consultations, the patients were provided with free medicines and underwent various diagnostic tests, including:

  •         Diabetes tests
  •         Uric acid tests
  •         Hepatitis B and C screenings  
  •         Cholesterol tests
  •         Blood pressure checkups

  •         Diabetes, Pregnancy-Related Issues
  •         Gynecological Issues, Anemia
  •         Scabies, Hypertension

Preventive Healthcare Session

In addition to the medical services, one of our expert doctors held a preventive healthcare session to educate the attendees about Hypertension.

Impact

This free medical camp made a significant impact on the lives of 304 deserving patients and their families. People from nearby villages and remote areas received free medical check-ups, diagnostic services, and essential medicines. For many, this camp provided an opportunity to consult qualified doctors. The camp not only addressed their health concerns but also gave them hope for a healthier future.
