Our Free Medical Camp Benefitted the Needy in Thatta
Transparent Hands, with support of PPAF (Pakistan Poverty Alleviation Fund), Sindh Community Foundation and other Donors, recently organized a free medical camp and preventive healthcare session to provide quality healthcare services to underprivileged patients in Thatta. The free medical camp was held on April 10, 2025, at Village Aboro Jakro, Union Council Bajora, District Thatta.
Free Consultations, Medicines, and Diagnostic Tests
A total of 596 deserving patients received free consultations from our expert doctors. Medicines, general check-ups, blood pressure check-ups, diabetes tests, uric acid tests, hepatitis B & C screenings, and cholesterol tests were provided free of cost. Diseases and Treatments
Most of the patients who received consultations were suffering from flu, skin allergies, UTI, chest pain, headache, weakness, dizziness, constipation, scabies, fever, joint pain, cough, and stomach issues. Moreover, free medicines were given to a large number of needy patients.
Preventive Healthcare Session
Our expert doctors held a preventive healthcare session for the attendees at the free medical camp. The session focused on the prevention and management of UTI, constipation, and how to maintain personal hygiene.
Impact
The free medical camp made a difference in the lives of 596 deserving patients and their families. In Thatta, limited medical facilities and rising cost of living made it difficult for people to receive timely care. At this camp, we addressed their health issues and made sure that as many patients could benefit. Alongside healthcare services, health awareness was also provided, encouraging people to take timely steps towards their well-being.
Overall, this camp significantly improved the health of needy patients in Thatta. The residents were extremely grateful to you as you provided them with hope and healing.
