Transparent Hands recently organized a free medical camp and preventive healthcare session to provide essential medical support to deserving patients in Kotri. The free medical camp was held on December 30, 2024, at City Foundation Public High School, Khuda Ki Basti No1 Block A, Kotri.

Free Consultations, Medicines, and Diagnostic Tests

A total of 702 deserving patients received free consultations from our expert doctors. Medicines, general check-ups, blood pressure check-ups, diabetes tests, uric acid tests, hepatitis B & C screenings, and cholesterol tests were provided free of cost. Here is a summary of the different diagnostic tests provided at the free medical camp in Kotri.

Diseases and Treatments

Most of the patients who received consultations were suffering from skin allergies, flu, scabies, fever, diabetes, body pains, cough, and stomach issues. Moreover, free medicines were given to a large number of needy patients.

Preventive Healthcare Session

At the free medical camp, our expert doctors held a preventive healthcare session for the attendees. The session focused on the prevention and management of Scabies.

Impact

The free medical camp made a difference in the lives of 702 deserving patients and their families. For many of Kotri’s residents, affording medical care was a distant dream, and the camp turned it into reality. Residents of all ages benefited from the free consultations, medications, and diagnostic tests provided during the camp. Families were finally able to prioritize their well-being. 

Additionally, a preventive healthcare session on scabies was conducted, equipping attendees with practical knowledge and measures to safeguard themselves and their families.
