We Changed Lives with Free Healthcare in Laspur, Chitral
Transparent Hands, with the support of Pakistan Poverty Alleviation Fund (PPAF), HUJRA and other Donors, organized a free medical camp and preventive healthcare session in Raman Laspur, Upper Chitral, KPK, on May 8, 2025. The primary objective of this camp was to provide essential medical assistance to the underprivileged community of Laspur.
Free Consultations, Medicines, and Diagnostic Tests:
A total of 335 deserving patients received free consultations from expert doctors. Besides medical consultations, the patients were provided with free medicines and underwent various diagnostic tests, including:
- Diabetes tests
- Uric acid tests
- Hepatitis B and C screenings
- Cholesterol tests
- Blood pressure checkups

This free medical camp made a meaningful impact on the lives of 335 deserving patients in Laspur, Chitral. It is an underserved area where many people are unable to afford essential medical treatments and often have to travel to other cities to access medical care. At this camp, numerous patients benefited from free medical services, and many of their health issues were addressed. Our doctors observed that high blood pressure was a common concern among the residents.
