Your Kindness Helped Us Fight Hepatitis B and C in Kasur

Transparent Hands, with the sponsorship of Packages Foundation, recently arranged a Hepatitis B & C Screening camp to provide quality healthcare services to staff members. This camp was held on July 29, 2026, at Bulleh Shah Packaging, Kasur.

Free Consultations, Screenings, and Vaccinations

A total of 263 staff members received free consultations and Hepatitis B & C screenings from our expert doctors. In addition to these:

• 101 patients received free consultations and H. Pylori tests.
• 12 patients received Hepatitis B vaccinations for protection against the disease.

The camp enabled individuals to undergo essential diagnostic tests and receive vaccination services that are often neglected due to affordability issues.

Impact

This screening camp made a significant impact by providing staff members with an opportunity to detect hepatitis B & C at an early stage. Many individuals who had never been tested before benefited from timely screenings, which provided them with vital information about their health.

Early detection is crucial in managing hepatitis, as untreated cases can lead to severe complications. Overall, 263 staff members underwent Hepatitis B and C screenings and received medical guidance, while 12 employees also received Hepatitis B vaccination.

Positive Cases

During the screening process:

• 6 positive cases of Hepatitis C were identified.
• 9 positive cases of H. Pylori were identified.

Depending on further medical and financial evaluation, Transparent Hands may register these patients for further treatment at one of our panel hospitals.
