Uplift Underprivileged Communities of Rahim Yar Khan with Free Medical Care
Transparent Hands is organizing a free medical camp and preventive healthcare session in Rahim Yar Khan to provide essential healthcare services to low-income and vulnerable communities. Located in the southern region of Punjab, Rahim Yar Khan is known for its agricultural significance and hardworking population. Despite its economic contributions, many residents face difficulties in accessing quality healthcare services. Through this initiative, Transparent Hands aims to provide timely medical assistance to deserving individuals and families. At this free medical camp, patients will receive free consultations from expert doctors, diagnostic tests, and medicines.
Challenges
For low-income families, limited financial resources often delay medical treatment, allowing minor health issues to develop into serious conditions. Many public healthcare facilities are overburdened, making it challenging for people to receive timely attention. At the same time, private healthcare services are unaffordable for a large portion of the population.
Common health concerns in the region include acute respiratory infection, scabies, fever, diarrhea, hypertension, and asthma.
Solution
To help address these healthcare challenges, Transparent Hands will organize a free medical camp in Rahim Yar Khan. The camp will provide free healthcare services to deserving individuals and families who are unable to afford medical care. The following services will be provided during the camp:
- General Checkups
- Blood Pressure Checkups
- Blood Sugar Tests
- Hepatitis B & C Screenings
- Cholesterol Tests
- Uric Acid Tests
- Free Medicines
- Ultrasound Scans
- Registration of Deserving Surgical and Medical Procedure Cases
- Preventive Healthcare Session
Preventive Healthcare Session
In addition to medical care, a preventive healthcare session will be conducted by qualified doctors. The session will focus on a common health issue affecting the population. By increasing health awareness, this initiative will empower residents to take effective steps towards improving their well-being.
