Around 111 people underwent screening tests for hepatitis B and C. Among them, 8 HCV positive cases were identified and they were further advised to take proper treatment.

Due to food insecurity and contaminated water, the majority of people living in rural areas of Qazi Ahmed are suffering from stomach related issues and respiratory infection. Around 30% of the patients complained of diarrhea including children. On the other hand, women in the village complained of gynae related issues. They were provided with a proper treatment plan and advised to take care of their health to prevent these diseases in the future. The women expressed that lack of transport facility, financial constraints and unavailability of female doctors in their locality are important barriers to seeking adequate healthcare services. In addition to these barriers, private hospitals and clinics are out of the reach of women in the village due to high costs.

Transparent Hands team comprising of 18 members managed this medical camp successfully. The team included 4 doctors, 1 patient coordinator, 1 lab assistant, 1 pharmacist, 1 photographer, 1 supervisor and 9 volunteers.

All the people who availed free healthcare services in the camp appreciated the efforts of the team and organization. They thanked all their supporters and expressed the desire to arrange more medical camps where the poor people can get quality medical facilities for free.
