Transparent Hands is organizing a free medical camp along with a preventive healthcare session to support underserved communities in Keamari, Karachi. This area, located near the busy port of Karachi, is home to many hardworking families who earn a living through fishing, industrial work, and manual labor. However, healthcare facilities are limited in this region. This medical camp aims to provide essential medical care to people who often put their health aside due to financial struggles. Patients will receive free consultations, diagnostic tests, and medicines.

Challenges
The residents of Keamari face several healthcare challenges. Many people have low and unstable incomes, making it difficult for them to afford private medical treatment. Public hospitals are often crowded, and long waiting times discourage people from obtaining medical services.
Lack of awareness about preventive healthcare and hygiene further increases the risk of illnesses. Many individuals ignore early symptoms, which later turn into serious health conditions. According to the National Institutes of Health Pakistan, in 2024, 382 people in Keamari were affected by diarrhea, 243 by influenza, and 12 by malaria.
