Transparent Hands is organizing another free medical camp to improve maternal and child health in Kasur. This initiative is part of our ongoing commitment to bring quality healthcare services to deserving mothers and children who are unable to pay for their treatments. In Kasur, many families suffer from treatable conditions due to financial constraints and inadequate healthcare facilities. By providing free healthcare, we aim to improve the health and well-being of these families and provide them with the chance to have a healthier future. Our mother and child initiative is also aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals, particularly SDG 3, which focuses on health and well-being.

Challenges
Kasur, like many other low-income regions, faces serious healthcare challenges. Many mothers do not receive the proper prenatal care, leading to complications during childbirth. Children in the area suffer from malnutrition and illnesses that go undiagnosed and untreated. Lack of awareness about these issues only worsens the situation, leaving families vulnerable to long-term health consequences. According to health reports, the district suffers from high infant mortality rates, and the maternal mortality rate is also high.

Solution
Transparent Hands aims to address these challenges by organizing a free medical camp in Kasur, where mothers and children can receive essential healthcare services. At this camp, we will provide consultations by specialists who will help diagnose and treat common health issues affecting women and children. The following healthcare services will be provided at the free medical camp in Kasur.
· Consultations with a pediatrician
· Gynecological check-ups for women
· Blood Pressure check-ups
· Nutritional screening for children
· BMI calculation
· Blood sugar tests
· CBC
· Ultrasound scans for women
· Preventive Healthcare Session
· Deserving Surgical/Medical procedure cases will be registered

Preventive Healthcare Session
The preventive healthcare session at the camp will focus on educating families about one of the common health issues in Kasur. Our expert healthcare professionals will provide valuable insights on how preventive measures can help avoid common health issues. By empowering families with this knowledge, we aim to promote long-term well-being and reduce the risk of preventable diseases.
