Transparent Hands is organizing a free Maternal and Child Health (MCH) Camp in Mustafabad, Lalyani, District Kasur, to provide essential healthcare services to deserving patients. This initiative will also contribute towards achieving the United Nations Sustainable Development Goal 3 (SDG 3): Good Health and Well-Being for All at All Ages. Mothers and children require regular medical care at every stage of life. However, many people are unable to access timely treatments due to financial constraints and limited healthcare facilities in the area. At the camp, patients will receive free consultations, laboratory tests, ultrasound scans, and medicines.

Challenges
In Kasur, financial hardships, limited medical facilities, and a lack of health education contribute to poor maternal and child health outcomes. Many families are unable to afford routine medical checkups, diagnostic tests, prenatal and postnatal care, and timely treatment. Women and children living in low-income areas often face delays in receiving essential healthcare services, increasing the risk of preventable complications and illnesses.
According to a study, the Maternal Mortality Ratio (MMR) stands at 140 deaths per 100,000 live births, while the Infant Mortality Rate (IMR) is 48.7 deaths per 1,000 live births in Kasur.

To address these healthcare challenges, Transparent Hands will organize a free Maternal and Child Health Camp in Mustafabad, Lalyani. The camp will provide essential healthcare services to women and children who may otherwise be unable to afford them. The following services will be provided during the camp:
