Transparent Hands Brings Corporate Leaders Together to Make Healthcare Accessible to the Underprivileged

Awareness session with corporate sector

Transparent Hands organized an impactful awareness session titledThe Role of the Corporate Sector in Improving Access to Healthcare for Underprivileged Communities on August 18, 2026, at the Lahore Chamber of Commerce & Industry. Almost 50 corporate leaders, senior professionals, and representatives of various institutions participated. The purpose of arranging the session was to discuss Pakistan’s healthcare challenges and strengthen corporate and non-profit collaboration to improve healthcare accessibility for the underprivileged.

The event began with the recitation of the Holy Quran by Qari Muhammad Hassan, a member of Jamia Ashrafia. Ms. Rameeza Mueen, co-founder of Transparent Hands, delivered the introductory address. She shared Transparent Hands’ journey from a humble start to one of Pakistan’s leading crowdfunding organizations.

Commenting on the creation and role of Transparent Hands, she said, “Before the inception of Transparent Hands, we witnessed patients living in pain just because they were unable to afford surgical and medical treatments. Numerous people were willing to extend support but they showed reluctance because they didn’t know where and how their donations were being used and whether or not any patients were actually benefitting. We realized that they would only be able to donate with confidence if we ensured transparency, visibility, and trust. This idea led to the creation of Transparent Hands, the largest crowdfunding platform in Pakistan’s healthcare sector, connecting donors from around the world with truly deserving patients.

The introductory address also highlighted the key role played by Transparent Hands’ corporate partners and panel hospitals. It was followed by the screening of a documentary about Transparent Hands’ work, impact, and major achievements.
