Improve the Quality of Life of Needy Patients in Umerkot

Transparent Hands is going to organize a free medical camp and preventive healthcare session in Umerkot, Sindh, to provide essential healthcare to underserved individuals. Located near the Thar Desert, Umerkot is a historically rich district. Despite its significance, the healthcare system in the region is underdeveloped, leaving many families without access to timely and quality medical care. At this upcoming medical camp, the residents will obtain free healthcare services including consultations, lab tests, medicines, and ultrasound scans.
Challenges
In Umerkot, public hospitals often lack the resources and capacity to manage a large number of patients. Long distances to medical centers, inadequate transportation, and financial limitations prevent many residents from seeking medical help when they need it most.

Solution
To overcome these difficulties faced by underprivileged communities, Transparent Hands is committed to supporting the people of Umerkot through a free medical camp. We will provide a variety of essential healthcare services. A qualified team of doctors, nurses, and healthcare professionals will be present at the camp to ensure that residents receive the much-needed attention and treatment. The camp will bring the following medical services:
• Free Consultations with General Physicians
• Gynecological Checkups
• Ultrasound Scans
• Blood Pressure Checkups
• Blood Sugar Tests
• Hepatitis B & C Screenings
• Cholesterol and Uric Acid Tests
• Free Medicines
• Preventive Healthcare Session
• Registration of Deserving Cases for Free Surgeries or Advanced Treatment
Preventive Healthcare Session
Along with medical services, the camp will include a preventive healthcare session focused on one of the most common health issues in Umerkot. We aim to raise awareness and promote early detection, helping the community take proactive steps towards better health.
