Shorkot Medical Camp in the News

The Transparent Hands team, in collaboration with CopperGAT Cables, organized a free medical camp in Shorkot city, Jhang, on 14th November, 2020. A team of thirteen experts managed the camp under the supervision of Mr. Raheel Abbas, Director Operations Transparent Hands. The doctors, who participated in this noble effort, included Dr. Sajid, Dr. Abdur Rehman and Dr. Bushra. Expert medical consultation and free medicines were provided to around 400 patients. The tests, that were conducted, comprised Hepatitis B and C screening, ultrasound, blood sugar and blood pressure test. In this medical camp, eight patients were identified who needed surgical intervention and seven required various medical procedures. Seven patients also tested positive for Hepatitis. These cases were registered by the Transparent Hands team so that they could be contacted, at a later stage, and facilitated with follow up treatment and surgeries.
