Empowering Health: Transparent Hands’ Sarai Alamgir Medical Camp
Transparent Hands conducted a free medical camp and preventive healthcare session on December 22, 2023, at Govt Elementary School Aima Shah Ji, Sarai Alamgir, aiming to provide accessible healthcare to impoverished patients.
Comprehensive Medical Services Provided
A total of 272 deserving patients received free consultations with expert doctors. Essential medicines, diabetes tests, uric acid tests, hepatitis B & C screenings, cholesterol assessments, and blood pressure check-ups were provided free of charge. The medical camp also conducted various diagnostic tests, performing 176 tests in total, including HBV and HCV screenings, cholesterol, uric acid tests, and BSR tests.
Common Ailments and Treatments
Patients seeking consultation presented various health concerns such as flu, allergies, scabies, fever, diabetes, body pains, cough, and stomach problems. Free medications were dispensed to address these health issues, and no surgical cases were reported.
Focus on Preventive Healthcare: Hypertension Management
Expert doctors conducted a preventive healthcare session during the camp, emphasizing the prevention and management of hypertension, intending to educate participants about preventive measures.
