A Life-Changing Free Medical Camp for the Underprivileged in Karachi
Transparent Hands recently held a free medical camp and preventive healthcare session to make quality healthcare available to impoverished patients. The free medical camp was held at Sir Jee Schooling System, Near Zubair Bakery Muslim Mujahid Colony, Baldia Town No 7, Karachi, on November 18, 2023.
Free Consultations, Medicines, and Diagnostic Tests
A total of 500 deserving patients received free consultations with expert doctors. Additionally, they were given free medicines and tests for diabetes, hepatitis B and C, malaria, cholesterol, and blood pressure checks. A total of 68 diagnostic tests were conducted.
Preventive Healthcare Session
During the free medical camp, one of our expert doctors conducted a preventive healthcare session emphasizing the advantages of clean drinking water to the attendees.
Diseases and Treatments
Most of the patients who sought consultation were suffering from fever, sore throat, cough, chest congestion, scabies, anemia, cholera, diarrhea, abdominal pain, typhoid, high blood pressure, diabetes, body pain, and body weakness.

A free medical camp held in Karachi brought significant changes in the lives of 500 deserving patients and their families. This impactful event provided them with free consultations from expert doctors and essential medicines and diagnostic tests for various conditions. The medical camp team consisted of 18 members, including 1 supervisor, 4 doctors (2 females and 2 males), 1 staff nurse, 2 lab technicians, 4 pharmacists,6 patient registrars, and 1 photographer.
