Many Lives Were Uplifted at Our Free Medical Camp in Okara

Transparent Hands, with the support of Pakistan Poverty Alleviation Fund (PPAF), Association for Gender Awareness and Human Empowerment (AGAHE) and other Donors, organized a free medical camp and preventive healthcare session at Union Council Attari, District Okara. The primary objective of this camp, held on June 26, 2025, was to provide essential medical assistance to the underserved community of Okara.

Free Consultations, Medicines, and Diagnostic Tests:

A total of 206 deserving patients received free consultations from expert doctors. Along with consultations, the patients were provided with free medicines and underwent various diagnostic tests, including:

•         Diabetes tests
•         Uric acid tests
•         Hepatitis B and C screenings  
•         Cholesterol tests
•         Blood pressure checkups

At the camp, patients received consultations and medicines for the following health-related issues:

• Abdominal Pain, Back Pain
• Joint and Muscle Pain
• Cough
• Headache
• High Blood Pressure (Hypertension)

• Eye Diseases
• Skin Allergies

 Preventive Healthcare Session

In addition to the medical services, one of our expert doctors held a preventive healthcare session to educate the attendees about the Misuse of Analgesics.

This free medical camp made a valuable impact on the lives of 206 deserving patients in Okara. With limited health facilities and the high cost of treatments, health concerns frequently remain unaddressed in Okara. This free medical camp provided a significant opportunity for these individuals to receive professional medical care. People benefited from free medical check-ups, lab tests, and consultations.
