Provision of Quality Healthcare to Deserving Patients in Kasur
On September 14, 2023 Transparent Hands, in sponsorship with Systems Limited, organized a free medical camp and preventive healthcare session in Rasool Nagar, Kasur, with the goal of making quality healthcare accessible to underserved patients. A team from CMH Lahore Medical College and the Institute of Dentistry also provided free dental checkups.
Additionally, Allah Wala Trust offered eyesight checkups and distributed free glasses. This initiative aimed to improve the health and well-being of underprivileged individuals by addressing their medical needs and ensuring they receive necessary treatments and services.
Free Consultations, Medicines, and Diagnostic Tests
A total of 672 deserving patients were able to receive free consultations with expert doctors. It provides a range of essential healthcare services at no cost, including medicines, diabetes tests, uric acid tests, hepatitis B & C screenings, ultrasound, cholesterol checkups, eye checkups, provision of glasses, and blood pressure check-ups. A total of 445 diagnostic tests, including eye check-ups, were conducted.
Diseases and Treatments
Most of the patients who sought consultation were suffering from fever, cough, flu, earache, sore throat, toothache, chest infection, seasonal allergies, weak eyesight, hepatitis C, abdominal pain, diarrhea, diabetes, body pain, body weakness, and scabies.
Preventive Healthcare Session
During the free medical camp, one of our expert doctors conducted a dedicated preventive healthcare session focusing on dental care. The session aimed to raise awareness about the importance of oral hygiene and provide attendees with practical tips for maintaining healthy teeth and gums.

The free medical camp conducted in Kasur had a profound and transformative effect on the lives of 672 deserving patients and their families, who often struggle to access necessary medical care due to their challenging circumstances. The Rasool Nagar medical camp team consisted of 26 members, including two supervisors, four doctors (two males and two females), 10 dentists, one lab technician, one optometrist and one assistant, two pharmacists, two patient registrars /crew members, one volunteer, one staff nurse, and one photographer.
