We Empowered the Needy with a Free Medical Camp in Mokal
Transparent Hands, with the support of Pakistan Poverty Alleviation Fund (PPAF), Association for Gender Awareness and Human Empowerment (AGAHE) and other Donors, organized a free medical camp and preventive healthcare session at Union Council Mokal, District Kasur on June 30, 2025. The primary objective of this camp was to provide quality healthcare services to deserving patients in Mokal.
Free Consultations, Medicines, and Diagnostic Tests:
A total of 274 deserving patients received free consultations from expert doctors. In addition to consultations, the patients were provided with free medicines and underwent various diagnostic tests, including:
- Diabetes tests
- Uric acid tests
- Hepatitis B and C screenings
- Cholesterol tests
- Blood pressure checkups

Common Health-Related Issues
At the camp, most of the patients who received consultations were suffering from the following health-related issues:

- Knee pain, Shoulder pain
- Kidney diseases
- Hernia
- Abdominal Pain
- Flu, Fever
- Chickenpox
Identification of Surgical Cases:
During the camp, we identified three patients who required surgical procedures. Depending on the detailed medical and financial evaluation, Transparent Hands may register them for further treatment at one of our panel hospitals.
Preventive Healthcare Session
In addition to the medical services, one of our expert doctors held a preventive healthcare session to educate the attendees about Hypertension.
Impact
This free medical camp made an impact on the lives of 274 deserving patients and their families. By providing free consultations, medicines, and diagnostic tests, we addressed the healthcare needs of the vulnerable community of Mokal. Through this camp, we empowered many deserving patients.
