You Helped us Bring Medical Relief to Dera Ismail Khan
Transparent Hands, in sponsorship with Give2Asia, successfully organized a beneficial program aimed at providing free medical care to underprivileged patients in Dera Ismail Khan. This free medical camp and preventive healthcare session were held at the New City Housing Society in Dera Ismail Khan on 21st May 2023. This initiative aimed to alleviate the healthcare burden faced by the impoverished community by offering them essential free-of-cost medical services.
Free Consultations, Medicines, and Diagnostic Tests
Our medical team, which included doctors, nurses, and pharmacists, provided a wide range of healthcare services to 261 deserving patients. The services they offered at the camp were:

- Hepatitis B & C Screenings
- Blood Sugar Test
- Blood Pressure Checkup
- Uric Acid Test
- Cholesterol Test
Most Common Diseases
The patients were diagnosed with various health problems, such as fever, flu, cough, earache, eye infections, seasonal allergies, asthma, chest infection, skin allergies, high blood pressure, uric acid, joint pain, frozen shoulder, weak muscles, thalassemia, hernia, diarrhea, diabetes, backache, joint pain, and body pain. A total of 116 tests for hepatitis B and C, uric acid, cholesterol, and BSR were also conducted.
Preventive Healthcare Session
An expert doctor held a preventive healthcare session to educate attendees on essential prevention tips. The session emphasized awareness about diabetes, its symptoms, testing, and how to prevent or control it by following a healthy lifestyle.
